About Me, The Owner
Hi! I’m Rima. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston University and a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from Northwestern University in 2008.
Since then, I have worked with a diverse pediatric caseload in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Sacramento through Regional Centers for early intervention (birth-3), multidisciplinary clinics (PT/OT/Speech), private practices, and home-based settings.
My work experience has given me the opportunity to become a Clinical Instructor, a supervisor to both clinical fellows and SLPAs, and to mentor developing clinicians.
I love working closely with families and feel parent education and training is essential for optimal success and carryover of skills. I also view each client on a global level, encouraging collaboration among each client’s team of supporters.
Outside of the Clinic
I am a mom to two tiger cubs—a daughter and a son—who continually inspire me both personally and professionally. I deeply value human connection and enjoy soaking up the California sunshine, getting lost in a book, writing, moving mindfully through this busy world, and experimenting with new foods and recipes.
